The Association is legally incorporated in the US as a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization. All contributions to the Fund are tax-exempt per US Internal Revenue Service. Our tax number is 36-33827511.
100% of your donation goes to work in areas designated by donors and approved by ASP Trustees, including that to the Sikh Education Fund providing Sikh students in America with education scholarships and grants. All of the work the organization does is through volunteers who receive no compensation for their work and generally no proceeds from donations go toward the administrative costs of the Association.
Association of Sikh Professionals is also proud to say it is one of the only Sikh non-profit organizations in America that runs partly on a re-investment and recycling aid system in the area of education. This means all the interest-free loans re-paid by students upon graduating go back into the pool as additional funds for educational activities. It enables the organization to reinvest that money back into the Sikh Education Fund to help increase the number of financial awards it grants every year.
